Terms of Service

AngloMatchmaker is operated by Seazars. Please read these terms before using the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be of legal marriageable age and register truthful information. A profile may be managed by the member or, with their knowledge, by a family member. Impersonation, misrepresentation, and fake profiles are prohibited and lead to removal without refund.

2. How the service works

AngloMatchmaker is a private, consent-first introduction service. There is no public browsing — your concierge shows you handpicked, masked matches. Full profiles and clear photos are revealed only after both sides consent (or as permitted by each member's own photo setting). When both sides say yes, we share contact and arrange a meeting.

3. What we do — and do not — promise

A membership pays for access and matchmaking service, not an outcome. We do not guarantee matches, responses, acceptances, meetings, or marriage — those depend on other members' choices, which we do not control. We guarantee only what is within our control: your profile is shown to compatible verified members, you can send interests up to your plan's allowance, and we coordinate meetings for mutually-interested matches.

4. Plans, payments & renewals

A plan grants a monthly allowance of connections. Plans are one-time payments for a fixed term with no auto-renewal and no hidden fees. A generous fair-use limit applies to "unlimited" plans to prevent misuse. Prices are shown before purchase. Except as required by law, plan payments are non-refundable once the term has begun.

5. Till You Marry plan

  • What it is. A one-time payment. Your membership stays active until you mark yourself married or close your account. While active, we keep showing your profile to compatible verified matches, let you send interests, and arrange meetings when both sides are interested.
  • What it is not. This plan pays for access and matchmaking service — not an outcome. It does not guarantee matches, responses, acceptances, meetings, or marriage, because those depend on other members' choices.
  • Keeping it active. Keep your profile active and accurate — we check in about every six months. A dormant profile may be paused; you can reactivate it free anytime.
  • One person, non-transferable, non-refundable. The plan covers one member and cannot be shared or transferred. As a one-time lifetime purchase it is non-refundable — but it never expires while active, and your price is locked.
  • If your account is deleted. Under the DPDP Act you may delete your data anytime; doing so ends the plan.
  • Goodwill support. If an active, complete, Aadhaar-verified profile has had zero mutual matches after twelve months, we will provide a free matchmaker review to help.

6. Conduct

No scraping, no cold contact of non-consented members, and no sharing of others' details off-platform without their consent. Harassment, abuse, or misrepresentation leads to suspension without refund.

7. Verification

Aadhaar verification (via DigiLocker) confirms identity; we store only a salted hash of the Aadhaar number, never the number itself. AngloMatchmaker is not liable for representations made by members.

8. Brokers, affiliates & vendors

Partner brokers may invite their clients, who sign up and verify themselves — brokers may not upload or import profiles. Affiliate and referral rewards are earned only on genuine, verified activity and are subject to the applicable program terms. Listed wedding vendors are independent businesses; AngloMatchmaker is not responsible for their services.

9. Privacy & data

Your personal data is processed per our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Data is stored in India. You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time.

10. Liability

AngloMatchmaker facilitates introductions only and does not guarantee outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding term.

11. Grievance officer

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of [CITY], India.
